A man needs a taxi.

He sees a taxi on the street.

The taxi stops.

Mihunong ang taksi.

The man opens the door.

He asks the driver, 'How much to the station?'

Nangutana siya sa drayber, 'Tagpila paingon sa estasyon?'

The driver says, 'Ten dollars.'

Miingon ang drayber, 'Napulo ka dolyar.'

The man says, 'That is too much. I give you eight dollars.'

Miingon ang tawo, 'Husto ra kaayo na. Hatagan tika og walo ka dolyar.'

The driver thinks for a moment.

Nagpamalandong ang drayber sulod sa pipila ka segundo.

The driver says, 'Okay, eight dollars is good.'

Miingon ang drayber, 'Sige, maayo ang walo ka dolyar.'

The man gets in the taxi.

Misakay ang tawo sa taksi.

He is happy.

Malipayon siya.
